Zakah and Waqf Foundation Gombe partners with IFING MEDIA Kano on Podcasting.

An Islamic Finance Media organization base in Kano train about 10 members of Zakah and Waqf Foundation Gombe on Podcasting (an episodic series of spoken word digital audio files that a user can download to a personal device for easy listening).

The program was facilitated by Mudathir Adesanya, Managing Director, IFING media and participants in attendance include some management members, Waqf ambassadors and our media team of the Foundation led by Umar Faruk Ahmad, Director Training Unit.

The 1^st training which hold on the 4th August was successful and one interesting thing is that, Zakah and Waqf Foundation Gombe will be the first Islamic organization to start podcasting in the whole Gombe State.

General members can now easier here and know what we do from far through the stated broadcasting platform.

On the 11^th  September, 2021 also, the  Foundation has recieved 2^nd training on Podcast operations and editing of content by the same facilitator. Participants in attendance included some Management Members of the Foundation, a few among the Waqf ambassadors and the Media Team together with the Training Directorate Team.

Rehearsals were made and practiced by the participants for a better understanding of the operation of Podcasts and the training sessions were very enlightening. Mr. Mudathir Adesanya made sure that every gadget was put in place and thoroughly explained on its operations.

Interestingly, the Zakah and Waqf Foundation Gombe will be the first Islamic organization to start podcasting in the whole of Gombe State.
