On the auspicious occasion of 25th Ramadan 1445, equivalent to 4th April 2024, the Zakah and Waqf Foundation, Gombe, under the Chairmanship of *_Ameer Abdullahi Abubakar Lamido_* organized a heartwarming Iftar event at the Da’awah Orphanage in Tumfure, Gombe State. The event aimed to provide joy, nourishment, and companionship to the orphaned children during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

The event included various activities to foster a sense of community and joy among the attendees. The highlights of the event were:

1. Preparation of Food: The organizers and volunteers cooked delicious meals for the orphans, ensuring a nutritious and fulfilling Iftar experience.

2. Procurement of Fruits and Gifts: Along with the meals, the Foundation purchased fruits and other gifts to distribute among the children, spreading happiness and excitement.

3. Familial Participation: Members of the Zakah and Waqf Foundation, Gombe, along with their families, actively participated in the event. This familial involvement added warmth and personal connection to the gathering.
