The 2023 Waqf Ambassadors Workshop, held on November 18th and 19th, aimed to empower young graduates and higher institution students by enhancing their skills in ICT, agriculture, and fostering self-reliance.
The workshop sought to unlock the untapped potential within these individuals, aligning them with avenues for personal and community development.

Ameer Abdullahi Abubakar Lamido (Chairman, Zakah and Waqf Foundation): Ameer shared the vision and mission of the foundation, highlighting the crucial role of waqf in societal development. His presentation underscored the importance of self-reliance and sustainability.
Dr. Adamu Tilde: Dr. Tilde’s session centered on the intersection of agriculture and technology, elucidating how modern technological advancements can revolutionize farming practices. Participants gained valuable insights into leveraging ICT for enhanced agricultural productivity.

Malam Aliyu Rabiu: Malam Rabiu lead the Entrepreneurship Clinic where questions, comments, recommendations, and advice were made.

Participant Feedback: Feedback from participants indicated a high level of satisfaction, with many expressing newfound confidence in applying ICT skills, exploring agricultural ventures, and embracing self-reliance. The workshop successfully fostered a sense of empowerment among the attendees.
Conclusion: At the end of the workshop participants signed a commitment to Waqf form, which exactly 120 youths of higher institutions attended, over a dozen of the participants are NYSC Corps members and graduate applicants.
